PJ Templin lives in Northern California with her husband and two sons. She writes science fiction and fantasy, homeschools her sons, and tinkers with all kinds of other projects in her spare time.

PJ grew up in the Midwest and acquired her love of reading and writing from her mother. She went to college to major in computer science, but changed majors - as many freshman do - to English and the humanities. College is also where she met her husband - a bona fide techie. She came up with the idea for Tech For Writers after several discussions with other writers who were looking for advice on which programs to use on which computers. There was a need for technical knowledge in the writing world, and what better way to supply it than a podcast!
